Soooo, for today I though I would show my very first card. This is before I even had a camera to take a picture, so its a scan of it and it was for my DH on valentine's day. I have no clue where all the stuff is from, probably Michaels or Hobby Lobby one. And actually, I still like this card...simple, plain, and to the point, lol.

Thanks for stopping by and so sorry for not having a NEW card to show you. But will for sure on Thursday! That's my first day as Melanie's Guest Designer. Already have that card made! LOL!

Cat this is very pretty... Love the color combination..
This is such a sweet card! Very well done for your first one.
That completely stinks that your trimmer broke. I would be lost without mine. I had to by the industrial one from Staples. Best of luck finding a new one on sale!!
Lovely card. Sorry about your paper trimmer. I am sure if you take it back to where you got it and if you have a receipt or paid with a cc, they will give you at least a replacement.
This a wonderful card!!! It doesn't look beginner to me........you should see some of my first cards!!! LOL Sorry about that paper trimmer issue....I hate when technical difficulties get in the way of crafting!!!
Oh man! I hate it when an essential tool bites the dust - or gets lost!! Good luck with your replacement.
I really like your card - awesome beginning to your card making hobby!! TFS.
Wow, that is an impressive first card.
I am bummed about your paper trimmer. I have been thinking about trying that one out. Good luck getting it exchanged or replaced.
Oh heck!! sorry 'bout your trimmer--I can't cut a straight line either, even when traced first, so I feel your pain! This card, however, is a pure delight! I have that little polkadotted heart, but never have made it look this cute! Great card and very resourceful of you to not have to trim much! :) tfs!
