Its Unity challenge Wednesday again for us Unity addicts! I really loved this challenge issued by Cyndi this week, love them recipe challenges! This weeks was to use the following:
H…Use a sentiment having to do with Hope
O…Put some ribbon on your card - Think Pink
P…Use something Pink!!
E…Embellish with something that starts with an "m" for Mammogram
Here's my take on it:
I used the word 'hope' for sentiment.
I used big ole pink ribbon.
I used...read above, lol, also the brads and on butterfly.
Ok, I kinda read this one wrong, didnt see it said 'embellishment'..so my mirrored butterfly hope counts for the M! I got that idea from Mel , doing the mirror image. I think that is such a neat idea!
Dont forget, over on the sidebar is a list of Unity Challenge girls with some awesome creations up today too!
Oh, and got one more challenge that was issued by the super fantabulous Angela, owner of UNITY. We all love the Twilight series of books and she issued a challenge to use one of the covers of the books for inspiration. Here is a pic of the book covers:
And here is my card, bet you can guess which one I based it on, lol:
I punched all them little squares out, lol! I didnt have any DP that would work so did it that way. The sentiment I did on the puter, yay! I figured out how to do that, am so proud of meself on that! LOL!
OK, thats all for today! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Hump day!

Oh my! Another bunch of wonderful cards! You are having a fantastically creative week! Way to go. ~chris
Love the mirrored butterfly! That is so cool... I like the colors you used and your coloring of the image is beautiful. I am going to have to check out Mel's blog for the directions. Thanks for sharing!
BEAUTIFUL! I love that butterfly and what you did with it is superb.
Yay to the twilight card too. All that work paid off. Great job!
How unique!!!! Love that mirrored image and your coloring rocks!
That mirrored image is really cool! Love what you did with the Twilight challenge also!
These are fantastic, Cat! Your take on the Wednesday challenge is just stunning and the Twilight card ROCKS!
Oooooh, I love both of these!!!
gorgeous cards!!
Beeeeeeeeautiful reflection card!!!! I used the same set for my Unity Wednesday challenge card too!! I'm love with butterflies you know 'cuz they're so easy to glitterfy!!!! :)
I'm probably the only gal alive who can't stand vampires and the Twilight stuff.......sorry.....but don't throw any rotten tomatoes at me!!! Your card certainly IS fabulous however!!!!
I absolutely adore your butterfly card! It makes me want to dig through my butterfly stamps, lol. It's really very pretty. I'm torn between Victorian and Art Nouveau in the feeling I'm getting of the stamp. Either way I love it and you did a perfect job in that oh so whispery soft reflection!
The mirrored image was a great idea for the challenge! Looks nice.
Wow! Cat, the pink card is just so beautiful. Love the mirror effect and the ribbon is just the perfect final touch with those brads. The second card is just lovely! The brads in the upper left-hand corner are wonderful and then the image and the bottom with the tassle are just perfect!
